Strengths and Weakness

Strengths



Patience:

Personally I feel that my strength is being patient in most things I do. I am usually calm and do not show my temper or displeasure when met with a problem. Being a student leader, while handling events, there are definately hitches that would threaten to spoil the plans of the event. Instead of showing displeasure and ranting on the cause of the problem, I would stay calm and solve things step by step until the whole problem is solved. With this , I believe that this will help me greatly in my work as adminstration requires much patience to go through the numerous datas.

Quick Thinking:

Being involved in many school events and duties allocated to me has enabled me to think on my feet. For example during my school's open house, parents would definately ask you questions that you have never heard or is unsure of. However after encountering such circumstances often, I am able to think on my feet and would try to answer to their questions the best I could or tour them to other places while I ask my other prefect mates or my teachers for advice on that question and get back to them shortly. Hence I believe this trait would be beneficial when I encounter any problems in my work.

Merticulous:

I am a person who takes in every detail be it in work or memory. Perhaps this is induced through studying accounting as accounting trains us to be careful in our numbers as this would lead on to many repercussions like not being able to balance your balance sheet etc. In addition after working as a tempoary admin staff ,being merticulous is emphasized heavily. Hence each day in work trains me to be careful in the words and numbers I type into the computer before confirming my work as if any mistake is commited on my part it would result in a almost irreversible consequence and would require other office staffs to go to great lengths to correct my mistake. Thus I believe that this trait would be beneficial to my application to the job as an busniess adminstrator.

Willingness to learn:

Education is forever changing and takes on many aspects. Hence whatever I learnt could be different from how it is supposed to be applied to my work. Although I may not possess the full knowledge on my scope of my work, I am willing to learn on how to perform better in my job.

Weakness:

Never take risks:

I am someone who is afraid of failures or committing mistakes. Hence I would never dare to try something new. However I would be willing to make a effort to venture in to new plains.
