TESTIMONIAL:
Klara Tan Hui Wen was a student of Kranji Secondary School from 2004 to 2007.
She is a well-behaved, friendly and polite stident who was well liked by her peers and teachers. She is ceerful, outgoing, independent and is always helpful to others.
She is diligent and has an earnest desire to do well in her studies. She participated in the New South Wales competition for Science in 2006 , the Reader's Digest Pen Pilot Essay Writting Competition and the 'THATS HOT!' poetry writting compettion held by Singapore Polythenic.
Klara was a commited member of the school's Prefectorial Board. She was also a Student Librarian as well as a member of the Chess Club. Being responsible and reliable, she was an excellent role model to the other members under her charge. She is trustworthy and discharged her duties well. She was in- charge of the students' welfare in the Prefectorial Board. She helped maintain discipline among students during school events. She participated in the Singapore Polythenic Chess Challenge in 2004 and emerged second runner up in the Lower Secondary International Chess Category.
She demostrated her interest and care for the community through Service Learning Projects. In particular, she collected old newspapers, sold pens and baked cookies to raise funds for needy children in 2005. In 2006, she played a role in a video that was produced to educate parents on how to communicate well with teenagers. She was also a member of the publicity committee of a blood donation drive in 2007.
Klara was an active participant of class and shool activites, having represented her House in the Annual Road Run from 2004 to 2006. She also participated in Leadership Camp for Prefects in 2006 and the Leaders Day from 2005 to 2007. She attended lesson on Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Flash in 2004 and Digital Art in 2005 and 2006 as part og the school's Information Technology programme. Her digital artwrok was displayed in an art exhibition organised in conjunction with the school's 10th Anniversary Celebration. She attended the DISC Profiling Workshop, the Career Guidance Workshop, the Maths Trail and an Etiquette Course from 2005 to 2006. She was also a peer leader during the orientation for primary six pupils in 2005.
Klara is a promising student. Her maturity in thought together with her friendliness, good manners and responsible character will put her in good stead in her future endeavours.
